Terms of service
Effective August 2026
Acceptance of terms
By using Loopquill you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms apply to all use of the tool at loopquill.com and any associated subdomains.
What the service does
Loopquill is a browser-based tool that lets you pull audio and video files from YouTube links. In V1, the service provides:
- YouTube URL validation and preview via YouTube's oEmbed API
- Audio extraction in MP3 format at 128, 192, or 320 kbps
- Video download in MP4 format at 360p, 480p, 720p, or 1080p
- Client-side session history stored in browser localStorage
The service is provided as-is and may change or become unavailable without notice.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for how you use the files you pull through Loopquill. Use is permitted for personal, educational, and reference purposes — for example, loading a track into a DAW to study its arrangement, or keeping an offline copy of a video tutorial you own access to.
You agree to:
- Use Loopquill only in ways that comply with applicable law
- Respect YouTube's Terms of Service and the rights of content creators
- Not reproduce, distribute, or monetize downloaded content beyond fair use or explicit permission from the rights holder
- Not use Loopquill for bulk or automated downloading
Loopquill cannot verify how downloaded files are used after they leave the tool. Responsibility for lawful use rests entirely with you.
Intellectual property
Loopquill does not claim ownership of any content you download. YouTube videos and their audio tracks belong to their respective creators and rights holders.
The Loopquill name, mark, and codebase are the intellectual property of Loopquill. You may not reproduce or redistribute them without permission.
No warranty
Loopquill is provided "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every format or quality will be available for every video. Use at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Loopquill and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use or inability to use the service — including but not limited to data loss, copyright claims arising from your use of downloaded files, or service interruption.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of Loopquill after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
